Rejected Material

Rejected Material is an ongoing research project on labour and ghosts (with Kevin Dooley). The research investigates the shift from a society where production takes place in the closed site of the factory, to one where it is the whole of society that is turned into a “social factory”. Key questions being: what are the waste products of that social factory, how does that shift affect people’s everyday lives? The research has taken various forms ranging from essays, seminars and installations/video and has been presented in various spaces such as:Kunstpavillon Innsbruck, 2013, (AUS), Malmö konsthall, 2015, (SWE) The Kitchen, 2018, (NYC)... (2013-ongoing)
